🚨 We are excited to announce that Southern Cross Douglas C-49J will be at @eaa Oshkosh 2026! Southern Cross is a 1942 built Douglas C-49J (DC-3). There were only 138 C-49s built, Southern Cross is the only remaining airworthy J model, making her a very rare airframe. The Greatest Generation Aircraft crew is excited to share her special story, and the differences between a C-49 and a C-47. Southern Cross is planned to be at AirVenture from July 17th-23rd.
